Camera Class!!

I am still wanting to fill a few more spots for my camera class coming up in 2 weeks! C’mon people, I want YOU to come! Here are a few awesome incentives:

*I will be providing a FREE headshot (or two) to every attendee! (Yes, that means you might want to come to the workshop looking cute.)

*This is the one and only group camera class I will have this year, and the price is going up next year! The cost to attend in February is just $175. Comparable classes elsewhere are upwards of $300…so this is your last chance to learn how to use that awesome DSLR camera you have for a super super competitive price.

I really hope you come! I love teaching these classes and would love spending the day with YOU! Click here for a little more info. And if you’re ready to sign up, click the CONTACT link above and fill out the form. Thanks!

Rhyan & Tenleigh {Workshop Models}

I had a workshop out here at my new studio a couple of weeks ago. It was so exciting, as it was the first thing to take place in my new space! Shanadi came over and we covered both how to shoot in Manual mode on her SLR camera, as well as some Photoshop basics. She had some friends come out to the homestead to model for us so she could practice her new skills. Thanks for coming out, Shanadi! It was fun!

Harper & Friends {Workshop Models}

I’m sorry for the blog break! We have been moving and still have very limited internet access. I thought I’d hop on to try to share a few new photos today.

We had such a fun workshop a couple of weekends ago…the gals that showed up were just like a group of friends hanging out all day. One of the attendees had her parents meet us with her kids at a nearby park. Her daughter Harper was the best little model. She loved having her photo taken and was beautiful and lots of fun to practice on.

Thanks to Elsie, Kati, and Shelby for coming to the workshop. I know you all learned a lot and took some awesome photos that day! Here are a few behind-the-scenes of the ladies at work.

Camera Class :: This Sunday!

Hey hey! I have 2 spots left for my camera class this Sunday! The group we have so far is an AWESOME group of ladies who I can’t wait to spend the day with. I’d love it if you’d join us! Shoot me an email at gina {at} ginadreherphotography {dot} com to sign up. It’ll be awhile before the next one, as we have so much busyness coming up with our moving and building our new studio!

Group Camera Class Anyone?

Hey! If you read my last post, you know that we’re moving! And I thought it would be great to do one more camera class in my current studio before we’re outta here for good. My camera classes are tons of fun. It’s a time to talk, eat, drink some coffee, and learn how to take amazing photos.

Saturday, February 13th is the date I’m looking at. I’m trying to make a decision about if we’re going to go ahead with it by Tuesday, based on how much interest there is. Shoot me an email (gina {at} ginadreherphotography {dot} com) if you’re interested ASAP!

The Jorgensens {Workshop Models}

Saturday morning and afternoon, I had an awesome group of ladies over to my house for a camera workshop! We had lots of fun learning about how to shoot in manual mode, compose beautiful photos, and figuring out all the ins and outs of our cameras. After lots of instruction, we took our skills out for a test drive. We had the lovely Jorgensen family model for us at high noon on a 100 degree day. Poor them. But we tried to make it super quick and we still got some cute photos of them. Thanks to the Jorgensens for volunteering for this!

And here are a few behind-the-scenes shots of my lovely ladies. We had THREE pregnant women. Add that to the 100-degree shooting conditions. They were troopers. Katina, Megan, Kendra, Diane, and Amy…thank you so much for coming. It was great to spend the day with you all and I hope you learned a ton! Now, go forth and take awesome photos! 🙂

Before and After {Photoshop}

All my sessions got canceled last week. ALL of them. Can you imagine? Icky weather, sickness, and scheduling conflicts combined for a lazy week for me. I kind of didn’t know what to do with myself. But don’t feel bad for me, I ended up spending lots of awesome time with my boys and going to bed BEFORE 1am for a change! 🙂

But no sessions means no blog posts and that’s just boring. Am I right? So, I wanted to share with you a couple of before-and-after photos that I shared on my facebook page last week. My gracious husband humored me and took a couple photos of me in our backyard so that I didn’t have to show any of my client’s befores. Not that anyone in the history of my photo biz has ever looked bad…I just didn’t want to single anyone out. And I got a few new headshots out of the deal! Without further ado, I give you…the magic of Photoshop.

Not a drop of Photoshop on those befores, my loves. Which is tough for me because I like to Photoshop every picture of myself ever and ever.

I have had a bit of interest in a Photoshop class. I schedule these based on interest and don’t currently have one on the calendar. But I will schedule one as soon as I get enough feedback. If you’d like to attend a class, shoot me an email at gina (at) ginadreherphotography (dot) com and let me know your availability (week nights, weekends, etc.). You must have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to attend.

Peace out!
