Val is my dear friend and when I heard she and her hubby were expecting their third baby, I was BEYOND excited! That baby girl has since been born and is darling, but before her arrival, we were able to sneak in a little maternity session. I was scrambling to find some fall color, as most of the trees had already shed their leaves at this point. But we found a pretty spot with lots of orange and it was great. It was definitely cold for these photos, so we made the session short and sweet. I’ll (hopefully) catch up (some day) and share the photos from baby Aurora’s newborn session soon!
ALSO…just for fun, click here for Val’s maternity session with her first baby, Isabella.
And click here for the one we did when she was expecting Sam!
I *think* I’ve made some decisions about how I’m going to blog from here on out…but I need some time to sleep on it before it’s a done deal. For now, I’m playing catch-up here!
This beautiful little family is expanding this month! Quite literally any day now, little man will make his appearance. We took some time last month to document Ben, Anna, and Amelia as a family of 3 before they become 4. This little lady loves her momma and daddy, and I can’t wait to see her loving on her baby brother!
Ashley brought along her husband and her kiddos for her belly session, but the hubby refused to be in these. Haha…we’ll bring him around sometime! 🙂 The kids were super sweet and it was definitely fun that they were in some of these with their momma. There was a point where I had Ashley laying on the ground and little Zoe came over and climbed on mommy for some cuddles. Once we added Liam into the cuddles, Zoe was over it and ran off…and we got some “real life” photos for sure. Such a beautiful night with this gorgeous momma, I can’t wait to photograph the new baby!
Kirsten, Zach, and I had had this belly session scheduled for a long time. So weather was not going to bring us down! There was some crazy wind that day, and the temperature was dropping by the minute, but Kirsten and Zach still managed to look fabulous. Their little boy is due this January and I’m so excited to take his newborn photos!
After Jessica’s belly session last week, I felt like I had made a new friend! She is so sweet and easy to get along with…not to mention a delight to photograph. The gorgeous dress and her flower crown were perfect for this session, and with her modeling history…well the camera just loved her. Jessica’s husband is currently deployed, and she is beyond excited for him to be home and to have this baby. This goes down as one of my favorite sessions. Thanks for such a fun evening, Jessica!
The morning of this session was dark, dreary, and rainy. Rachel and I were both a little nervous about what that would mean for our session later in the day…but with my busy schedule, her looming due date, and an optimistic forecast, we decided to go through with it no matter what. The evening couldn’t have been more gorgeous. Such beautiful light!! Perfect temps!! And photogenic subjects!! 🙂 Rachel and Trent are due to have their baby next month, and I’m so excited to do newborn photos for them. For now, here’s the belly!
This cute little family of four is about to become a family of FIVE and they couldn’t be more excited. The kids affectionately call the baby “Baby Honey Bear” and are just so sweet to their momma and her belly. We got a nice 90-degree evening for our session in the middle of a bunch of 100-degree days. But for a pregnant momma, 90 degrees is still pushing it. Amy did great, as did the rest of the brood, and we couldn’t help but laugh at the monotone “Cheeeeeeeeesecheeeeeeeeeesecheeeeeeeeese” that the kids kept doing in unison while I was taking their photos. Enjoy my favorites of the Turners!
Rebecca deserves an award or a milkshake or something. The night of her belly session was 103 degrees. Not fun for anyone, much less an 8-month pregnant lady! She did awesome though, and we were rewarded with some amazingly beautiful stormy skies at the end of our session. Rebecca and Brett’s dogs came along and jumped in a few photos before we decided it was too hot for them and they got left in the car with the A/C running. 🙂 Can’t wait to meet Baby Girl in a month or so!
