Fall Minis 2015

Thanks again to everyone who came out and took part in my Fall Mini sessions! It was so much fun seeing so many familiar faces and meeting some new ones as well. And I’m glad we got photos taken for 28 families that I wouldn’t have been able to fit into my crazy schedule otherwise! You guys rock. I’m sharing a favorite photo from each session below!

Thank You!! {Fall Minis}

Fall Minis were this weekend, and they were a success! Thank you, thank you to everyone who came out. I’m so glad we were able to get so many families through. Mostly, I am in awe of God’s faithfulness with the amazing weather we had. Rain was in the forecast for this weekend, but we had perfect fall temps both days and SUN on SUNday.

Big ol’ THANKS to Tara, my wonderful assistant. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Here are a few sneaks…aren’t my boys (top photo) just ridiculous (and adorable)?! Plus, Donald Trump made an appearance. Ha!

Happy Mother’s Day! {Mommy & Me Minis}

If you are a fan of my facebook page (and you all should be!), you already heard me voice this…but I think it’s worth saying again.

These Mommy & Me Minis were an absolute blessing to me. I didn’t expect that. I just thought I would be taking some pretty pictures that these Mommas would love.

But I came to find that every single one of you had an incredible connection and love that just came shining through your photos. I found myself with watery eyes several times as I was editing and I couldn’t help but thank God for this amazing gift of children He’s has allowed me to experience, and has allowed me to document for you.

Despite the crazy rescheduling due to ridiculous Kansas weather, I would do it all over again.

Blessings to all you amazing moms out there this Mother’s Day. You are all beautiful and you are all doing a great job! (And those husbands and kiddos had better spoil you!)

I have at least one photo of each of the special Mommas and her kiddos on here, so be sure to check this out and see which one of your photos was my favorite!

And when kids are involved, there are generally some outtakes. Here are a few of my favorite silly moments. 🙂

Merry Christmas {from the Drehers}

I wanted to take a minute to wish you a Merry Christmas from the Drehers. We have had an amazing year with the birth of our little guy Ren, and big brother Sutton is making us proud every single day. We are so blessed and thankful. Take time to enjoy your family, and remember the reason we celebrate…our Savior was born to save the world! Love…Gina, Adam, Sutton, Ren, & Diesel Dreher.

Christmas Minis {2014}

Over the years, I have gotten more and more requests to offer some sort of Christmas session. This year, with some prodding from my husband, I decided to tackle new territory and try it out. Adam and I brainstormed, and I have to give him most of the credit…I wanted to design an outdoor setup (being the natural-light photographer that I am), but he was being all practical and stuff and told me that I wouldn’t want weather and ugly mid-day sun to ruin my life. I begrudgingly agreed. We asked our awesome friend Scott if we could use the inside of his barn. He graciously obliged and even helped us set up…my baby Ren did a lot of bonding with Scott while Adam and I argued lovingly discussed the best way to set up the decor.

Come the weekend of our sessions, I was so excited for something new! Our set was so beautiful and we had Christmas music playing, spiced cranberries filling the air, and hot cocoa and cookies to enjoy. I love Christmas and this was SO Christmas-y. Big, huge, gigantic shout out to my friend and assistant Val who kept things moving and helped with the kiddos. You rock. A lot of you who came out were past or repeat clients, or should I say FRIENDS (clients sounds so impersonal), and it was just a joy to see you all and catch up. We also had some newbies who I’d never met before and it was wonderful to get to know you. Thank you thank you to everyone who came out for my first ever themed shoot. It was such a success…we will do it again! I may even do several throughout the year for different holidays.

Interested in my themed mini sessions for your family? They booked up FAST this time! Be sure to shoot me an email to get on my list of people to notify when registration is open for the next one. My email list is notified before the public so you have a better chance to get a spot! gina {at} ginadreherphotography {dot} com
