Meggan + Her Boys {Family}

Meggan is outnumbered by boys even more than I am! Such a fun family to meet and photograph last week. I had to work a bit to get the little guys to smile, but they sure didn’t lack personality. And we took a few photos of biggest bro on his own for his senior pictures, and he just wanted to stare meaningfully off into the distance for them all. Had to rein him in a bit, ha!

Tanna {Senior}

So…this girl is GORgeous. OBviously. NOt surE whY I’m CAPitalizing randoM parTS Of WORDs. Anyway. I had the privilege of photographing Tanna and her family a few weeks back and then got to hang out with her and her mom last week again for her senior session. We crammed a bunch of photos into a short time because there was a makeup snafu that shortened our session a bit, but it really didn’t even matter because Tanna is just so easy to photograph! And so funny too. Her sarcasm was awesome. (Something about being as hot as a Thanksgiving turkey?!) And she plays soccer. Which is way cool. Basically, she looks like a model, is super smart, and very athletic. Not much going for her. 😉 Kidding…I’m just jealous. Enjoy!

The Herwigs {Family}

I have been photographing the Herwig family since 5-year-old Kingston was just 1. Countless birthday sessions, mini sessions, and even a wedding been thrown in over the years since then. It has been amazing to experience all the big milestones with this family. So when Katie told me that we needed to do a session that included family photos, 5-year-old photos, AND senior photos for their oldest daughter, I was so happy to be able to oblige once again. I went up to Salina where they live for their session, and they took me around to several fun spots before we finished up at a park with the beautiful Ali for her senior photos. Enjoy some favorites of this photogenic family!

Alicen {Senior}

Alicen was so much fun to work with. I met her for the first time at her session at the gym in her high school in Goessel. She plays basketball and volleyball, so we had to capture those things in the place where she spends so much time practicing. After a short time there, we headed back to Wichita for the rest of the session. We stopped at so many fun places, and ended by wading through the river and taking some photos with a duck! Alicen is gorgeous, smart, and athletic…not to mention SUPER easy to photograph. Good luck with your senior year, Alicen! Enjoy these highlights from her session.

Bailey {Senior}

Get ready for some gorgeousness! I may have posted too many photos, but I have an excuse. This beautiful lady is my niece and she is going to be a senior in high school next year, which totally blows my mind. She was around 4 years old when I started dating her uncle and I can’t believe she will be going to college soon! I took her around town to a bunch of my favorite spots last week for her photos and it ended up being a great night with her and her mom. Another milestone checked off the list. Enjoy these photos of Bailey!

New Session Menu! {Exciting Stuff}

I have had the same session structure for years and years, and have lately been feeling that a different set-up would serve people better. So I re-worked the Session Menu and I’m very excited to offer 5 new types of sessions that I think will work better for everyone!

Click here to be taken directly to the new Session Menu on my website. And stick around to browse the updated site awhile if you haven’t checked it out already. I still fall in love with the new look every time I look at it! And I hope you do too. 🙂

The new Session Menu will apply to any sessions booked from here on out.

**As of today, we are booked up through the end of July. Please contact me ASAP to schedule any sessions, but especially FALL sessions, as those dates are starting to fill up super fast. October is nearly full also!**

And because every post is better with a photo, here are a couple from a make-up Mommy & Me Mini last week.

Paul {Senior}

Paul was my last session before a little break for the Thanksgiving holidays. We went to a few different places downtown that I haven’t taken a senior to before, so it was fun to try something new. Paul has such a great smile, but he does the serious face well too…which isn’t always the case! And I told him a couple times how glad I was that he wasn’t a girl with long hair because the day we had chosen was wiiiiiiindy. But you can’t even tell, right? Here are some favorites!

Fall 2014 Digital Images Sale!

EIGHT. This October marks 8 years of Gina Dreher Photography. I can’t believe it! Thinking back about the people I’ve met, countless relationships I’ve formed, and thousands upon thousands of photos I’ve taken…I can’t help but be grateful to all of you wonderful people for letting me capture memories for you. Not to mention the added perk that you all help put food on my table! 🙂 Thank you, thank you. On that note, let’s have a sale!

I generally do a Fall Sale on digital images annually; if you’ve been waiting for that, wait no more!. Digital images are high resolution, edited files from your portrait session that you may post online or make prints from. The details:

*Full session negatives may be purchased for $175 (regularly $275).

*The remaining images from Mini sessions may be purchased for $75 (regularly $125).

*There is no sale price for purchasing individual negatives, these prices apply to your session as a whole.

*This sale may be taken advantage of for future sessions in 2014.

*New this year: you have the option of receiving your images online via Dropbox instead of on a disc…which saves you a trip to pick up the disc! If you don’t know about Dropbox, just ask! It’s easy peasy.

Tax will be charged on each item. Past or future session negatives must be paid for by October 31st, 2014. After that, the sale price will no longer be valid. To place your order, or if you have questions, shoot me an email: gina {at} ginadreherphotography {dot} com

Jake {Senior}

The end of an era. I had the privilege of taking both of Jake’s older brothers’ senior photos in years past, and now Jake was the last in line. He was lucky enough to have my amazing husband, Mr. Dreher, as his 5th grade teacher several years ago. I used to take Mother’s Day photos of all of the students as a gift for their moms. Jake was in one of the classes I did that for, and his mom brought along that photo to his senior shoot last week so that we could re-create it. So fun. Here are my favorites from Jake’s session!

Courtney {Senior}

I took Courtney’s sister’s senior photos several years ago, and when I met up with Courtney last week, I was blown away by how much they look alike! We made sure to go to some different spots than we did for her sister’s photos, and I had so much fun hanging out with Courtney. We even explored a bit and found some areas I’d never used before. And we barely escaped with our lives when we walked just a couple feet away from a wasp’s nest without knowing it. 🙂 Enjoy Courtney’s senior photos!
