Lindsey + Bryan | Married

We had taken Lindsey & Bryan’s engagement photos at the same venue where their wedding was. It was a lot of fun to come back to this beautiful place to share in their wedding day. This perfect October day was full of beautiful details…from their quiet first look on a bridge in the middle of the woods, to the stunning arbor under which they said their vows, to the thoughtfully crafted reception centerpieces…so much love and time went into making this day special. There were a few minor snafus as their are with every wedding, but at the end of the day, Lindsey and Bryan vowed in front of their friends and family to love each other and their two little boys forever. We forced Bryan into a few more photos with his bride 🙂 before it was time for dinner, drinks, and dancing. And of course we can’t forget, their fun sparkler exit! That they repeated 3 times! Ha! Such a fun day. Congrats to Lindsey & Bryan, we are so glad you chose us to photograph your wedding day.

Olivia + Erik | Married

Where to start. This wedding day was unexpectedly perfect. The original plan had been for an outdoor ceremony on the river, but lots and lots of rain quickly derailed that plan. Olivia and Erik accepted that change with poise and grace, and were simply excited to be married. We started the day at Olivia’s apartment where the girls were getting ready, and made our way to the venue to put on her dress. The overcast day + the window-filled venue made for a gorgeous backdrop. We even had some time in between rain showers for outdoor photos before the ceremony. Olivia is so much fun to photograph, as she was a model in a past life. Erik was equally as much fun…the way he looked at Olivia all day left no doubt in anyone’s mind that these two were made for each other.

Adam and I shot this wedding with a more dark and moody feel than our norm – which was the couple’s preference. I cannot even tell you how much I love these images. I don’t know if YOU can tell, but to me they are so different from what I usually do, and it was a lot of fun to step out of my box and experiment a bit. The rainy day lent itself perfectly to the darker feel that Olivia desired, and made the ceremony and reception seem so cozy and comfortable. The toasts and dancing and celebrating carried on oblivious to the thunder and lightning outside the dark windows at the reception. I could go on and on, but…let’s just move on to the photos. Congrats to Liv + Erik. You two lovebirds are bound for wonderful things! Thanks for asking Adam and I to photograph + film your beautiful day!

Meghan & Kyle {Married}

Meghan and Kyle were married at the end of June, and were actually my last wedding before I took the month of July off from weddings. They sent me out with a bang! I hadn’t ever met this sweet couple until the day of their engagement session, but by the end of the wedding day I felt like we were fast friends. They were the most accommodating, trusting, creative, and fun couple ever. They even asked to take a photo with me at the reception (which I posted below for your viewing pleasure)! 🙂 Both the ceremony and reception were in Andover at St Vincent and I just love photographing receptions at the Ville. It’s such a pretty and interesting space. After a cocktail hour, dinner, and toasts, the dance began and BOY did they (and their guests!) love to dance! Meghan and Kyle…your wedding was amazing. You’d better give me a call the next time you need photos! 🙂
